Dr Tremblay spoke on the problem of counterfeit drugs at a policy roundtable in Washington.

Dr Tremblay authored the European perspective on a report of the Canadian Enhancing Interdisciplinary Collaboration in Primacy Health Care

Dr Tremblay was expert adviser to the Committee of the Council of Europe, Strasbourg, France, that developed Recommendation 2004(17) of the Committee of Ministers to member states on the impact of information technologies on health care – the patient and Internet (Adopted by the Committee of Ministers on 15 December 2004 at the 909th meeting of the Ministers' Deputies)

Dr Tremblay has worked with the NHS Alliance in the United Kingdom on developing a mixed health economy; the NHS Alliance represents Primary Care Trusts, which are the purchasing organizations in the English NHS.

The Fifth Report of the UK House of Commons Health Committee looked at issues of new medical technology in health; Dr Tremblay submitted written evidence to this Committee on how to encourage innovation in health care.

The Second Report of the UK House of Commons Health Committee looked at the development of independent Foundation Trusts; Dr Tremblay submitted written evidence on the nature of governance and democratic accountability of independent providers.
